Washing machine parts are the basic tools that help in washing clothes automatically. Washing machine was introduced in the 18th century but its general parts and technology was upgraded with automatic power buttons in 1957. Drum demonstrator or agitator:

Drum over here indicates the part of a washing machine where clothes are placed for washing. You can place your clothes in this drum as per its capacity. The drum is usually round in structure with a rotator in between that helps in twisting the clothes when the switch is turned on. There are different speed buttons at the control panel which decides the amount of speed at which the clothes are to be washed or spin. Agitator of the washing machines helps in mixing the washing power with water for washing clothes.

Water supply pipes:

Usually you will find two water supply pipes with washing machine. One pipe is for supplying hot water and the other pipe helps in supplying cold water. These pipes are attached at the back part of the washing machine. The drain pipe is connected with the machine to throw out the used and dirty water out of the machine.

Control panel and switch board:

There are different switches on the washing machine describing different functions. These switches are placed on the control panel board of machine and it has an indicator light for showing the function’s working position. You will find different switches on the control panel for changing speed of spinners and temperature. In short, this part of the washing machine is the operating part.
